Production Managers Christmas Lunch 2007
In January Essential Lighting hosted their third Open Day for students from the Central School of Speech and Drama. 50 students were treated to 4 seminars covering Lighting Design in the Live Event Industry, Scenic LED and Media Servers, Moving Lights and Control Technology, and the Operation of an Equipment Rental Company.
With plenty of 'hands on' time with the equipment, tours of Essential’s premises and Warehouse, and a talk by Brian Shepherd (President of the Europe & Middle East region of Staging Connections Group, of which Essential is now a member) on the subject of the global live events industry it turned out to be a packed day for both students and staff.
Essential is looking forward to working with CSSD’s students when they join the industry next year and beyond.
